FEE SCHEDULE my standard fee ranges may be adjusted to fit your current budget
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY My standard fee for one 45 minute individual session ranges from $150.00 to $200.00, depending upon your situation. In this current economic climate, during which so many are struggling to make ends meet, I am willing to adjust your fee, if necessary, below my standard range. RELATIONAL PSYCHOANALYSIS Relational psychoanalysis requires two to four regularly scheduled, 45 minute sessions per week. Psychoanalysis is the most intense and transformative form of individual psychotherapy. You can begin your psychoanalytic experience with two sessions weekly and add sessions as you feel ready. Typically, as the number of sessions per week increases, the fee per session decreases. In general, psychoanalysis works best for more intelligent and creative individuals. If this most fascinating and life-altering experience might interest you, let's talk about it. Call me. COUPLE COUNSELING My standard fee for one 60 minute couple session ranges from $160.00 to $250.00, depending upon your situation. Again, in this current economic slowdown, I may be willing to negotiate your fee, if necessary, below my standard range. Let's discuss it. PSYCHOANAYTIC GROUP THERAPY The fee for a weekly 90 minute group session ranges from $75.00 to $125.00. Again, if your current financial situation requires, your group fee may be adjusted. Not everyone will initially be ready for group therapy, but for those who are, it is an extremely potent and productive means of working on your capacity for stronger, less conflictual and more intimate relationships.
INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT PPO REIMBURSEMENT - Yes With a PPO insurance policy you should receive partial reimbursement for fees paid to Dr. Player. You would pay Dr. Player's fees directly to him and in full at the time of treatment. He will provide you with a monthly statement which you can send in to your insurance carrier requesting thereimbursement your policy entitles you to. HMO REIMBURSEMENT - No Dr. Player does not work with managed care. He is NOT on any HMO provider panel. Therefore, therapy with him would not be reimbursed by any HMO policy. MEDICARE & MEDICAID - No Dr. Player does not participate with Medicare or Medicaid.
REFERRALS If we cannot agree upon a fee that feels comfortable for both you and me, I will gladly refer you to a well trained colleague whose fees may better fit your budget. |
